Gauhati University Alumni Association
Vision
Gauhati University Alumni Association (GUAA) was constituted to bridge the gap between the past and the present. This bridging is necessary for the development of the university in different spheres with the help and guidance from the past students and teachers. While the present works for the university the past can extend the necessary guidance and help. GUAA is presently trying to make necessary arrangement to welcome former students and teachers whenever they feel like to visit their alma mater.
Present Mission
GUAA has acquired an old house from the University Authority to convert it to an Alumni House. The house is presently under renovation. As soon the house will be completed it will be open to all alumni for their use during their visit to the university. The association therefore requests all former students and teachers of Gauhati University to enroll themselves as the member of the association, and extend their all possible help to complete the mission. Members can also contribute for the development of the university through the association.
Enrollment as Member
To be a member of the association please download the membership form, and send back the completed form along with the membership fee to the General Secretary of the association. Membership fee can be paid either as a demand draft payable at Guwahati or as a cheque issued by any bank in Guwahati. Otherwise the amount may be deposited directly to the Bank Account of the Association (SBI, Guwahati University Branch, No.1024-3131534) and intimate the same to the general Secretary by email along with the completed membership form as attachment.
