Pre Examination Training Centre (PETC) of Gauhati University plays an important role in shaping career path of the students. The cell consistently provides continuous learning to enhance professional competencies by inculcating professional values and work ethics along with grooming sessions on personality development and communication skill. Moreover, training is provided to inculcate and enhance the analytical skills which are crucial to make key strategic decisions, to add work life attitude in personality, to convert theoretical knowledge to foster professional values.
Various Industry expert interaction programs are conducted for industry to institute convergence. Group discussion practices, mock interview sessions, resume building workshops are an integral part of the training sessions so that the students’ careers can be shaped and enriched in a meaningful way. The PETC regularly conducts training sessions and workshops for competitive examinations.
