Dr. Huidrom Hemojit Singh currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Gauhati University, starting in 2023. Prior to his role at Gauhati University, he held the position of DST Inspire Faculty Fellow at the Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology Manipur, from 2022 to 2023. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) in 2020 and also completed his M.Sc. in Physics from the same institution in 2015. Dr. Singh pursued postdoctoral research at the Department of Physics, Inha University, South Korea, from 2021 to 2022. His research focuses on the synthesis and fabrication of flexible nanocomposite films for energy harvesting, as well as the development of triboelectric and piezoelectric nanogenerators. He received the INSPIRE Scholarship from 2010 to 2015 and continued his academic journey with the INSPIRE Fellowship from 2015 to 2020. Additionally, he has been honored with the DST INSPIRE Faculty Fellow, effective from July 2022 to July 2027.
