Education-MPBora

 

 

 

 

I graduated from J B College (Jorhat, Assam) in the year 1982. I then moved to do my postgraduation in Physics from Delhi University (Hans Raj College). I completed my postgraduate in 1987 and then PhD in Plasma Physics in 1995 from Delhi University. I went to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT at Boston) as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 1996, where I worked with Prof Bruno Coppi, one of the pioneers of tokamak physics, in the Research Laboratory for Electronics (RLE). I went to University of York as a Commomwealth Academic Fellow to work with Prof Howrad Wilson at York Plasma Institute in September 2013.
