(iv) …………..participated in a 3-day training course on ‘Education in Spiritual & Human Values – Life Empowerment’ held at the Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Education Centre, Rupnagar, Guwahati from 10.11.2000 to 12.11.2000.
(i) …………..participated in a 3-day (14.05.2003-16.05.2003) National Seminar organized by the Centre for Studies in Civilizations, Darshan Bhawan, I.C.P.R. New Delhi at the Shankardeva Kalakshetra. Guwahati and presented a paper under the title : The Bargitas : A Unique Contribution of Srimanta Shankardeva and Sri Madhavdeva to the great Indian Composite Culture on 15.05.2003.
(ii) …………..participated as a resource person in a seminar on 12.11.2005 held in Darrang College, Tezpur and presented a paper on the topic : Asomiya Vaishnav Sahitya : Srimanta Sankardeva Evang Sri Madhavdeva Ke Vishesh Sandarbh Mein.
(iii) ………….participated on 11.02.2006 in a State level Seminar held in Nowgaon College, Nagaon on the subject : ‘Jan-Sanchar Madhyam Ke Vibhinna Pehlu Tatha Tulnatmak Sahitya Mein Anuvad ki Bhumika’ and presented a paper on the sub-theme : Tulnatmak Sahitya Mein Anuvad Ki Mahatta.
(iv) ………….participated in a National Seminar (UGC-Sponsored) organized by the Department of Hindi, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh on the 23rd and 24th February, 2006 and presented a paper on the topic : Tulnatmak Bharatiya Sahitya Evang Anuvad.
(v) ………….participated in a 3-day National Seminar (sponsored by North Eastern Council, Govt. of India) organized by the Department of Hindi, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong on 4th, 5th & 6th June, 2008 and presented a paper on the topic : Purvottar Ka Lok-Manas Aur Sahitya : Asomiya Ke Vishesh Sandarbh Mein.
(vi) …………...attended a day-long seminar on 22.09.2008 organized by the Hindi Department, Chhaygaon College, Chhaygaon and presented a paper on the topic : Aaj Ke Paridrishya Mein Hindi Evang Anya Bharatiya Bhashayen.
(vii) …………...attended a 2-day National Seminar jointly organized by the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Kshetriya Kendra : Guwahati, Shillong, Dimapur and the Hindi & Bodo Departments, Gauhati University on 26th & 27th March, 2012 and presented a paper on the topic : Bhumandalikaran Aur Bharatiya Bhashayen.
(viii) ……………attended the Ninth World Hindi Conference on 22nd, 23rd and 24th September, 2012 as a representative of Gauhati University and presented a seminar paper on the topic : Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi Ki Bhasha-Drishti Aur Vartaman Ka Sandarbh in the International Conference held at Johannesburg, South Africa.
(ix) ……………..attended on the 29th-31st October, 2012 the 21st All India Official Language Conference held at Gauhati by the Bharatiya Bhasha Evang Sanskriti Kendra, Delhi and presented a paper on the topic : Hindi ke Vikas Mein Anuvad Ki Bhumika.
(x) ……………...attended a National Seminar on 22.12.2012 organized by the Asom Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Guwahati in collaboration with the Akhil Bharatiya Sanstha Sangh, New Delhi and presented a paper on the topic : Asom Mein Hindi Ke Prachar-Prasar Mein Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Ka Yogdan.
(xi) .........................attended a 2-day National Seminar on the 16th and 17th March, 2013 jointly organized by the Asom Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Guwahati and Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra and presented a paper on the topic : Rozgar Ke Kshetra Mein Hindi : Chunoutiyaan Evang Samadhan.
(xii) ……………..participated in the one-day U.G.C sponsored Hindi Seminar organized by the Centre for Studies in Language, Dibrugarh University on the topic Asom Mein Snatakottar Star Par Hindi Shikshan : Dashayen Aur Dishayen held on the 28th March, 2013 and delivered the key-note address on the topic.

(xviii) ……………….participated in a 3-day International Seminar on the 19th to 21st January, 2018 organized by the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra Society, Guwahati on the theme ‘Contributions of Namghariya Culture on Assam’s Socio-Cultural Life’ and presented a paper on the sub-theme – Namghariya Culture : A Great Spiritual Discipline.
(xix) ………………participated in a 2-day National Seminar on the 9th & 10th March, 2018 jointly organized by the Department of Hindi, NEHU and Uttar Pradesh Bhasha Sansthan, Lucknow on the theme ‘Hindi Ka Rashtriya Paridrishya Aur Purvottar Bharat’ and presented a paper on the sub-theme : Hindi Aur Purvottar Ki Bhashayen.
Dr. Achyut Sarma, Associate Professor of Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, completed his post-graduation from Delhi University with specialization in 'BHASHA' i.e. Language in the year 1982 and then recieved his Ph.D. from Gauhati University in 2002 in the topic "A comparative study of the Karakas in Hindi and Assamese".
