• Master of Philosophy in 2003, from the Centre for American and West European Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. (Dissertation: Franco-German relations in the post cold war era)
• M.A. in Politics (with specialization in International Relations), 2000, from the School of International studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
• Qualified National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) in December 1999 and June 2000.
• Graduated with Honours in Political Science, Cotton College, Guwahati. Secured First Class-Second Position in Political Science under Gauhati University, Guwahati, 1997.
